Monte da Ravasqueira
Monte Ravasqueira is the place where you can discover all details about the company, including its history and wine tradition.
You will be impressed with the huge vineyards and the winery architecture that follows the models used in Napa Valley, California. Certainly you’ll feel at home and won’t leave without taste the Portuguese traditional dishes available at the restaurant (but don’t forget to book in advance).
In Monte da Ravasqueira you can also visit the Carriage Driving Museum and discover the private collection of harnesses and carriages of various eras and styles. The museum is also a way of recalling the fact that the 1996 World Carriage Driving Championship was won by Félix Brasseur, with Lusitanian thoroughbreds from the stud farm that existed for many years on Monte da Ravasqueira.
If you still have energy, try one of the outdoor activities available: bike tours, expeditions or aquatic activities. But if you’re a wine lover, sign up for a wine course or enjoy a family picnic next to the winery and try Portuguese specialties with a glass of Ravasqueira wine.
