Quinta do Gradil

It was in 1760 that Marquês de Pombal would have acquired Quinta do Gradil, although the oldest references date back to 1492, year of the document in which D. Martinho de Noronha received from D. João II the letter of donation of jurisdiction and rents of the Council of Cadaval and the Quinta do Gradil. 

In the 90's, Luís Viera acquired the Quinta from Sampaio de Oliveira and since then begins the modernization of the winery and vineyards. 

It is one of the oldest estates of Cadaval and of the Lisbon Wine Region, has secular historical marks and is a significant architectural landmark.

Located about 50 km from Lisbon near the bucolic Serra de Montejunto, its landscape invites to peace and harmony between wine and nature.
