Herdade do Sobroso

Herdade do Sobroso is composed of two country houses with an African inspired décor: one of the houses has five rooms available and the other one has five apartments with kitchenettes.  In addition to all the amenities, you can enjoy the outdoor salt-water pool with panoramic views of the surrounding hills and vineyards. In the restaurant you can taste traditional Alentejo lunches and dinners.

The “Herdade” offers hunting and fishing programs, wildlife photo safaris, kayaks, windsurf, water ski/wakeboard, boat trips, bicycle and horse riding and picnics to allow you to better enjoy its 1 600 hectares situated between the “Pedrógão” reservoir and the “Mendro” mountains.

For the wine lovers there are tours of the vineyards and winery, wine tasting and a shop where you can not only buy the Herdade do Sobroso wine but also their olive oil, honey and jams. Wine tours take place daily but advanced booking is required.
