Opened in June 2007, in the “Quinta” of the Abraham Valley, Aquapura Douro Valley is housed 19th century manor house that was restored and renovated to feature a modern space in a bucolic setting. A tranquil atmosphere exists in both the rooms, with an intimate ambience, and the wide and bright public spaces.
The hotel offers rooms and villas, two restaurants, a bar and pool bar and a world class SPA. It also has 5-hectares of woods on the riverbank, framed by the stunning Douro landscape.
The Douro Valley is one of the oldest demarcated wine regions of the world; accordingly, its restaurants feature wine prominently. Aquapura guests have at their disposal a selection of over 200 wines and 15 Champagnes belonging to the hotel's private cellar.
