Robert Parker gave 100 points to 1963 Fonseca Vintage Port.
On their website www.erobertparker.com, the wine critic says that, after Fonseca Port was Decanted for over three hours,” it was an elixir of candied roses, red and black fruits, licorice, cassis and kirsch. At nearly 50 years of age, this stunning vintage port appears to have another 20-25 years of life remaining”. Robert Parker tasted the 1963 Fonseca in a dinner, where he tasted another top world wines, but only the 1963 Fonseca and another wine from Bourdeux, France achieved the 100 points (out of 100).
