Wines of Portugal will be attending Expovina in Zurich (Switzerland) on the 6 and 7 November, with an event dedicated to promoting Portuguese wines at the Swan Bar between 2.00 pm and 9.00 pm.

The initiative will feature three Portuguese producers – Kopke, Fladgate and Falua – and its main objectives are to strengthen the position of Portuguese wines in the Swiss market, encourage consumers to try them, and raise awareness of the ‘Wines of Portugal’ brand amongst industry professionals and the general public.

On 6 November, between 3.15 pm and 4.15 pm, there will also be a masterclass on the theme ‘Portugal: A Journey Through Three Regions’, offering participants a unique opportunity to discover the diversity and richness of Portugal’s wine-producing regions.

Held annually in Zurich since the 1950s, Expovina is one of Switzerland’s most traditional wine fairs, providing an opportunity to showcase the diversity and quality of Portuguese wines to industry professionals, particularly those in the HoReCa sector.

Portugal is this year’s guest country, a choice that recognises its long maritime and wine-making tradition. Throughout the event, visitors are invited to discover Portuguese wines on board the various ships and to explore the country’s cuisine through a selection of wines and snacks.
