Quinta da Pacheca – Wine House Hotel

The Wine House Hotel is integrated in the Quinta da Pacheca, one of the oldest properties in the Douro and a pioneer in the bottling of their own wine brand. Quinta da Pacheca also has a unique, almost flat vineyard area, unlike most of the Douro “quintas”.

Quinta da Pacheca also has a particular characteristic in that it has an area of practically flat vines, unlike most Douro farms.

The property, with its traditional 18th century architecture, was restored in 2009 and is now a boutique hotel. The hotel retains its rural charm, but with contemporary features and modern comfort, and it is entirely devoted to gastronomic and oenological tourism.

Hotel rooms are individually decorated, some with a private balcony, and in the panoramic restaurant you can enjoy gourmet cuisine prepared with local products. The hotel offers daily-guided tours of the winery and wine tastings. There is also a wine shop where you can find the full range of wines from the company, as well as regional products.
