Palácio da Brejoeira
Those passing through Monção cannot ignore the imposing Brejoeira Palace. Named a national monument in 1910, it is a grand building of neo-classical style from the early 19th century.
The palace was opened to the public in 2010, allowing tourists to enjoy the beauty and hidden relics of the palace, thus satisfying the curiosity of many that passed outside its gates.
Besides the palace, the chapel, garden, woods and, of course, the vineyards and winery are also worth exploring. This estate has 18 hectares of vineyards planted with the Alvarinho grape variety, producing one of the most emblematic wines of the Vinho Verde region.
