Portuguese wines will be featured at two of Brazil’s most prominent trade fairs in 2026—Wine South America and the APAS SHOW—reinforcing Wines of Portugal's strategic focus on one of the most important international markets for Portuguese wines.

The participation kicked off with an appearance at the 6th edition of Wine South America, taking place from May 12 to 14, 2026, in Bento Gonçalves, Brazil, marking a return to the event following a first appearance in 2025 that brought together more than 7,000 buyers from 19 countries.

For this edition, Wines of Portugal will occupy a 90-square-meter space, organized into 15 booths dedicated to 15 companies, ensuring a strong representation of the national wine selection for buyers and industry professionals. Wine South America brings together producers, distributors, and industry experts, offering a diverse selection of wines in a single venue and fostering direct contact among the various market stakeholders.

The presence in Brazil will be reinforced by participation in APAS SHOW 2026, from May 18 to 21, at what is considered the largest food and beverage event in the Americas and the world’s largest supermarket trade show. Over four days, the event brings together national and international companies from the food, beverage, technology, innovation, logistics, equipment, and services sectors, establishing itself as a premier platform for business, networking, and knowledge sharing.

Wines of Portugal plans to return to this prestigious trade show—which welcomed 78,000 visitors last year—with a 98-square-meter “Wines of Portugal” booth featuring 21 counters dedicated to Portuguese companies, thereby boosting the visibility and recognition of Portuguese wines among key players in the Brazilian market.

Brazil is today one of the most important markets for Wines of Portugal, not only because of its growth potential, but also due to the strong cultural and historical ties between the two countries. A continuous presence at strategic trade shows such as Wine South America and the APAS SHOW is essential to consolidate commercial relationships, increase the visibility of our wines, and support Portuguese companies in expanding their presence in this market,” states Frederico Falcão, Wines of Portugal CEO.

Through these initiatives, Wines of Portugal reinforces its commitment to strengthening the visibility and competitiveness of Portuguese wines in key international markets by fostering direct contact between Portuguese producers and importers, distributors, journalists, and opinion leaders from around the world.
