Wines of Portugal is organizing itsGrand Tasting in Seoul and Busan. The South Korean capital will host the Portuguese wines on June 25 and the major port city will welcome the national references on June 27. Thus, in keeping with the Promotion Plan approved for 2024, these two tastings are aimed at producers with and without distribution in the market, with a target audience of around 200 professionals and 50 consumers in Seoul and 100 professionals in Busan.

In 2023, South Korea accounted for more than 4 million euros in exports of Portuguese wines, which represented 623,000 liters, at an average price of 7.02 euros. In this sense, this is a country that should be explored by Portuguese wine producers.

This interest offers an opportunity for Portuguese producers to establish themselves and gain a foothold in this market. Thanks to their diversity and recognized quality, the Wines of Portugal can attract these consumers, generating an increasing interest in our wine products."

The Wines of Portugal Grand Tasting in South Korea, in Seoul, also includes a seminar led by Wines of Portugal wine educator Sofia Salvador, aimed at 50 professionals.
