
In order to identify new business opportunities and increase awareness of the Wines of Portugal brand internationally, Wines of Portugal is organizing the Grand Tasting of Portuguese Wines in Hamburg, Germany, on June 3rd.
The tasting will be aimed at around 120 top professionals, on and off trade, as well as 65 consumers who will have the opportunity to get to know the projects of the companies present in depth, a way of strengthening relations between professionals and consumers in the German market. In addition to the tasting, there will also be a seminar led by David Schwarzwalder, a journalist and specialist in Portuguese wines on the German market.
About this tasting in the German market, Frederico Falcão, President of Wines of Portugal says: “The organization of these tastings represents a decisive strategy to expand the Vinhos de Portugal brand internationally. These initiatives allow us to promote the excellence of our wines and establish lasting relationships with local professionals and consumers. We believe that this tasting will consolidate the presence of Portuguese wines in the German market and open up new opportunities for growth.”
Participation in this event is part of Wines of Portugal's promotion plan and its main objective is to create new business opportunities in this market. The Interprofessional Wine Association intends to continue its work of promoting Portuguese wines.
