Portuguese wines obtained 52 gold, 31 silver and 11 bronze medals in a total of 94 medal. The medals were won by Portuguese wines at the Challenge International du Vin held in France between 24th and 25th of April. There were about 4,000 wines from 40 countries in competition that were evaluated by 700 judges. The most awarded country was France with 632 medals, followed by Spain with 134 and then Portugal.
