Two vineyards from Douro among the 50 best vineyards in the world in 2020

There are two Portuguese producers among the "best vineyards in the world" in 2020. Quinta do Crasto won 8th place and Quinta do Noval came in 49th place.
Douro from Quinta do Crasto came in eighth place in the annual awards that distinguish the “best vineyards in the world” and Quinta Noval, also from Douro, appears at number 49 on a list of 50 producers . The ceremony was held in the Sonoma County wine region of California, but this year's the winners were revealed online. First place went again to Argentine producer Zuccardi Valle de Uco. The top three is complete with Bodega Garzón, in Uruguay, and producer Domäne Wachau, in Australia. See the full results here.

Wine Future November 7th to 9th 2023

The 4th edition of Wine Future, which will take place between the 7th and 9th of November this year, will be held at the Convento de São Francisco in Coimbra. This 2023 edition is being co-organised by Wines of Portugal and Chrand Events. "Breaking Barriers" will be the theme of this, the largest meeting dedicated to wine held in Portugal, presenting participants with some of the most influential and respected names in the world of wine, but also with illustrious personalities from other sectors and even voices from competing industries.
