The Wines of Portugal collected 57 medals in the last edition of Vinalies Internationales
One of the most important wine competitions in France attributed 22 gold medals 35 silver medals to the Portuguese wines. Quinta de São Sebastião Reserva 2015 won the Red Wine Trophy, the highest distinction of the competition. The last edition of the competition Vinalies Internationales brought together more than 3500 samples of wine from all wine regions of the world. Among the awarded regions are Lisbon, Tejo, Minho, Península de Setúbal, Alentejo and Porto and Douro. The main goal of this competition is to emphasize the maturation capacity and intrinsic qualities of the wines. The Vinalies Internationales held in Paris and is organized by the Union of Winemakers of France. Check the full list of winners here.
