Portuguese wines awarded in Decanter Asia Wine Awards 2018

Portuguese wines have achieved 128 medals in Decanter Asia Wine Awards, one of the largest wine competitions in Asia.
The producer Henriques & Henriques won the two best awards of the competition. Henriques & Henriques, 20 Years Old Terrantez achieved the Platinum - Best in Show medal and the Henriques & Henriques, 15 Years Old Boal was awarded with a Platinum medal. The wine Vinha da Valentina Premium Tinto 2016 was distinguished with gold medal. Twenty-eight wines were also awarded with silver medals and 73 wines with bronze medals. Portuguese wines achieved 24 positions in the ranking of commended wines. The most awarded wines are reds (87), followed by whites (37) and fortified (8). More than 50 expert judges, including Master Sommeliers and leading palates in the Asia region, judged 3138 wines during DAWA judging week in Hong Kong last September. See the full results here.
