The main objective of this training is to promote the quality and diversity of Portuguese wines close to the professionals of the Horeca channel, creating awareness and profound knowledge. The event will be held in Brussels from September to December with the support of ViniPortugal. The courses will be taught by Andy Debrower, sommelier and one of the leading Belgian wine specialists. The sessions will be developed by Horeca Promotion, a specialist in training for professionals and managers of Horeca establishments, located in Brussels, which for the first time organizes training courses for the Wines of Portugal. The program offers training tailored to each function and type of establishment, providing courses based on participants' professional experience to provide solutions and tools for their day-to-day work. Andy Debrower features on his resume the title of Belgian Sommelier of the Year. He is also an active member of the Belgian Sommeliers Association and wine writer. During the workshops he will present subjects such as types of wines, Portuguese grape varieties, regions and wine-tasting initiation. The schedule, consisting of five formations, is as follows: Initiation sur Les Vins du Nord of Portugal - 11 and 25 September (3 hours each) Initiation sur Les Vins du du Sud of Portugal - 11 and 18 September (3 hours each) Les Vins du Portugal - Perfectionnent - December 4 (3 hours) The training sessions have a limit of 20 participants per action.
