The Niepoort wine tasting will be held next 21st Januar in Ogival Room in Lisbon and starts at 6:30 p.m. The event, conducted by Carlos Raposo, is organized by ViniPortugal, together with Niepoort wines and is inserted into the theme of the Wines of Portugal diversity. Niepoort is an independent family business since 1842. Through five generations, the business passed successfully from one Niepoort to the next Niepoort and in most cases older and younger generation worked side by side for a long period. At this time, we are enthusiastically looking forward to the future sixth generation, anticipating close collaboration. Niepoort's mission is to maintain its position of "niche player", continuing to produce distinctive ports and Douro wines, combining centuries-old tradition with innovation. This combination has come to include throughout our growth wines from two other regions that have contributed to marking out the Douro - Bairrada - Dão triangle.
