Poland once again welcomes the Wines of Portugal

The 2nd Edition of Wines of Portugal Grand Tasting in Poland will be held on 20th October at Primate's Palace in Warsaw.
Motivated by the success of Wines of Portugal Grand Tasting 2015 in Warsaw, ViniPortugal organizes the second edition, together with the Polish Chamber of Commerce - Portugal (PPCC), on 20th October 2016 at Primate's Palace, Warsaw. Poland is a small market however Portugal holds a significant share of 9% in volume, having recorded a growth of 4.8% in the first half of 2016. In order to improve the image of Wines Portugal, will be presented exclusive medium and high wines, a total that will exceed 200. The initiative includes a several events that will culminate with a wine tasting for professionals and consumers. Program: 10 am - Wines of Portugal Seminar 10.30 am - Workshop about the Portuguese wines on Polish wine market, guided by Ewa Rybak, targeted to the Economic Agents. 12 pm - Port Wine Seminar 2pm to 4.30 pm –Wine tasting exclusively for professionals From 5pm to 8pm – Wine tasting for consumers Jorge Monteiro, ViniPortugal CEO, says "Poland is the 10th destination of our bottled wine, importing more than China. Poland, a country where the consumption of wine is low, has the eyes turned to our wines. Unfortunately there’s a lot of work ahead, seeking to improve the image of our wines. That’s why these seminars that will follow during the event become so important. " The event aims to promote and enhance awareness about the Portuguese Wine in a growth potential market, where the high quality of the Portuguese wines isn’t yet well-known. With the Grand wine tasting, ViniPortugal pretends to endorse strategic change, promoting in Warsaw exclusive medium and high Portuguese wines, presenting icon brands and winemakers.

Fórum Anual dos Vinhos de Portugal 2024 - Apresentações

A ViniPortugal realizou Fórum Anual dos Vinhos de Portugal no Teatro José Lúcio da Silva, em Leiria, no dia 28 de Novembro.

O Programa deste ano debateu a “Situação actual do sector”, abordou o “Plano Estratégico 2030”, a apresentação pelo IVV dos dados mais recentes das Exportações bem como a evolução do mercado nacional. Como habitualmente dermos a conhecer os Planos Sectoriais de Promoção Internacional para o ano de 2025, articulados entre a ViniPortugal e as Entidades Certificadoras.
