Wines of Portugal highlighted in Prowein

More than 150 wineries will attend the most important international wine fair, held on 13-15 March in Dusseldorf, Germany
Prowein will host again the Wines of Portugal promotion from 13 to 15 March. 150 Portuguese wineries will participate in this important wine fair, enhancing the approximation to the main international trade. The Wines of Portugal stand will hold more than 20 seminars with renowned international speakers and a free wine tasting area with 70 award-winning Portuguese wines. The seminars "Portugal’s original and dynamic blends” should receive particular attention. The seminars will be led by Julia Harding, Master of Wine, journalist and author, expert in Portuguese wines and grape varieties, in 13-14 March. As well as, the seminars that approach the innovative sustainability of Wines of Portugal in vineyard’s diversity, guided by Antonio R. Graça from PORVID - Portuguese Association for Grapevine in Diversity, an institution with a significant role in preserving national vineyards. Author of the German Wine Guide. 6pm “The World of Diversity – The Portuguese Wine nuances”, by Sofia Salvador, Wines of Portugal Official Wine Educator. Tuesday, March 15 11am - “Portugal Wines Innovate Sustainably - Sustainably winemaking from conserving ancestral grape biodiversity” by António R. Fórum Anual dos Vinhos de Portugal 2024 - Apresentações

A ViniPortugal realizou Fórum Anual dos Vinhos de Portugal no Teatro José Lúcio da Silva, em Leiria, no dia 28 de Novembro.

O Programa deste ano debateu a “Situação actual do sector”, abordou o “Plano Estratégico 2030”, a apresentação pelo IVV dos dados mais recentes das Exportações bem como a evolução do mercado nacional. Como habitualmente dermos a conhecer os Planos Sectoriais de Promoção Internacional para o ano de 2025, articulados entre a ViniPortugal e as Entidades Certificadoras.
