Warsaw has received the first Wines of Portugal Grand Tasting, organized by ViniPortugal, in partnership with the Portuguese-Polish Chamber of Commerce. The initiative supported 2 seminars, where attended 350 visitors and 50 professionals. The main purpose of the event was to enhance the knowledge about the Portuguese wines in this strategic market. Poland is a small market however Portugal holds a significant share of 9% in volume, but only 6% in value. So, in this event, in order to improve the Wines of Portugal brand, attended exclusively more than 200 wines from medium to high ranges. The success of this event, which had an experimental origin, opens up strong chances for a new edition in 2016.
