The winemaker Francisco Antunes will lead the Alliance wine tasting held at Palácio da Bolsa in the city of Porto, today, 2nd October, at 6.30pm. This initiative is part of the theme Wines of Portugal diversity and aims to promote a meeting of Douro, Bairrada, Dão and Alentejo wine regions with Aliança wines. During the event will be tasted wines from different wine regions that have been presented us rich and complex wines. The Aliança wines have 80 years of history. In 1927, 11 members led by Domingos Silva e Ângelo Neves decided to found the company in Sangalhos (Anadia). The activity started to export to Brazil, Africa and Europe, and today, more than 50% of its production is for export. The wines, champagnes and spirits are the trademark of Aliança wines in Portugal and in around the 60 countries where the company exports.
