The Wines of Portugal Annual Tasting in London will be held on next Thursday, 5th March, at Royal Horticultural Halls of The Lindley Hall
126 winemakers from 11 Portuguese wine regions will present the most recent Portuguese wines and unforgettable vintages during the Annual Wine Tasting in London. The event will take place next 5th March at the RHS The Lindley Hall and starts at10 am. This Year, the Wines of Portugal Annual Tasting will have two prominent spaces: the biggest DOC of Portugal, Vinho Verde, where will be shown the quality of the region, excellent blends, indigenous and exciting grape varieties and complex and premium wines; and Port Wine, which will be highlighted for the second consecutive year, promoting the new vintages (2012). The tasting will provide different seminars that will guide the visitors through the various themes. Program: 10 am - Opening Ceremony 11 am to 11.40 am - The Revolution of Vinho Verde - Haven’t you heard? Vinho Verde is making a comeback. Seminar conducted by Master of the Wine Tim Atkin 12.30am to 2 pm - Lunch 14.40 am to 3.20 am - Food-Friendly Classics for any Restaurant, ministered by Master Sommelier Adam Pawlawski 15:40 to 16:20 - The Essential Portugal, guided by Charles Metcalfe 16:40 to 17:20 - Ports: Old Whites, New Discoveries: Showcases presented by Paulo Pinto of IVDP 18:00 - Closing Event Portugal intends to capitalize the international recognition on the wine’s new growth and demonstrate that they have the best value for money or variety. The main purpose of this wine tasting is to promote Portuguese wines directly to the UK trade. The UK is a traditional market with highest importance in terms of opinion-forming process and leadership trends followed by other worldwide markets. It’s presented as a gateway to other countries and is the third largest export market for Portuguese wines in value.

Fórum Anual dos Vinhos de Portugal 2024 - Apresentações

A ViniPortugal realizou Fórum Anual dos Vinhos de Portugal no Teatro José Lúcio da Silva, em Leiria, no dia 28 de Novembro.

O Programa deste ano debateu a “Situação actual do sector”, abordou o “Plano Estratégico 2030”, a apresentação pelo IVV dos dados mais recentes das Exportações bem como a evolução do mercado nacional. Como habitualmente dermos a conhecer os Planos Sectoriais de Promoção Internacional para o ano de 2025, articulados entre a ViniPortugal e as Entidades Certificadoras.
