Portuguese wines awarded in Mundus Vini 2014

A total of 239 Portuguese wines were awarded on 15th Mundus Vini Edition, a wine competition that was held in Germany.
Portugal was distinguished with 100 Gold medals and 124 Silver medals, in a total of 7,000 wines in competition. The set of wines reviewed grew 17%, compared to the last year. In the Grand Gold medal awards have been highlighted the fortified wines Moscatel de Favaios 1980, Rozès 40 years, Rozès LBV and Rozès late harvesting and the still wines Quinta dos Carvalhais Branco Reserva 2010 and QP. Touriga Nacional Vinho Regional Alentejano 2012. The Portuguese wines obtained, on Bio wines awards, a Grand Gold medal (Quinta da Amoreira da Torre Reserva 2008), 3 Gold medals and a Grand Silver medal. The competition joined wine judges from 35 countries. Among them is Subhash Arora, an international guest, invited by the eighth consecutive time.
