This protocol, the first between a Wine Commission and ViniPortugal, aims to motivate Dão winegrowers to join ViniPortugal marketing actions. From now on, wines from Dão will be at an individualized and identified stand in all ViniPortugal events. Dão wines will also have a biggest presence in Wines of Portugal academy events. Dão Wine Commission will support winegrowers willing to join ViniPortugal events, namely the ones which are appropriate to the specific region’s goals. The Wine Commission will co-finance events registrations fees, excluding travel, accommodation and extra costs. Dão wine region presence in Wines of Portugal wine tasting room in Lisboa and Porto will also be reinforce. Additionally to Dão wines presence in all events, wines from this region will promote three events in each of the wine tasting rooms. ViniPortugal and Dão Wine Commission will also share market information: Dâo Wine Commission will share information about wine exports by market and ViniPortugal about Portuguese wine exportation by main strategic markets.
