"Alvarinhos ao Mundo" is a wine challenge exclusively for Portuguese and Spanish Avarinhos and organized by the Spanish Union of Wine Critics with institutional support of ViniPortugal. Registrations will close on October, 30th. The judge panel includes several German journalists, trade members and the Portuguese wine critic João Paulo Martins. The blind tasting will happen in November, 14th. The challenge last (and first) edition was held in London and Portuguese Alvarinho Vinha Antiga 2010 from Provam winemaker achieved a Great Gold Medal.
