Viniportugal and Dão Wine Commission organize the first wine tasting of Alfrocheiro wines in Wines of Portugal wine tasting room - Porto at Palácio da Bolsa. Dão winemakers will lead the wine tasting and will talk about the wines produced from Alfrocheiro grape variety. Alfrocheiro is a red grape variety mainly cultivated in Dão, but it’s also cultivated in Bairrada, Ribatejo and Alentejo. It’s a grape variety with an huge potential and produces wines with dark fruit notes and firm tannins. Also, it’s very consistent in all wine regions.
