Quinta do Vallado Touriga Nacional 2009 from Douro wine region achieved the 13th position with 95 points (out of 100). We should mention that last year the Quinta do Vallado Touriga Nacional 2008 was featured in the 7th place of 2011 Top. The other Portuguese wine in the Top is a Port – Poças Junior Vintage Port 2009 – and achieved the 20th place. Every year, Wine Spectator selects a Top 100 as result of about 17,000 blind tastings during a year.
