Adega de Borba got 4 gold medals

The Adega de Borba, a company located at Alentejo wine region, received four gold medals at Mundus Vini Great International Wine Award 2001 that occurred in Germany.
Wines Adega de Borba Premium 2009, Montes Claros Reserve Red 2009, Montes Claros Garrafeira 2007 e Senses Syrah 2009 received a gold medal and Senses Touriga Nacional 2009 achieved a silver medal. But there were more! Adega de Borba also achieved the "Recommended" category with Rótulo de Cortiça Reserva 2008, Montes Claros Colheita Red 2009, Garrafeira 2002, Senses Alvarinho 2010 and Montes Claros Reserve White 2010. Manuel Rocha, Adega de Borba CEO , says that "the medals won validate the high quality of our wines, as well as the potential of Adega de Borba brands to compete in the demanding international markets." The Mundus Vini Great International Wine Award was launched in 2001 and has been held annually in Germany since then. MUNDUS VINI is one of the biggest international wine contests and, at the same time, the only German contest of international significance.
