On 14 September, Folium in Zurich will become the meeting point for Portuguese wine as Wines of Portugal presents an exclusive Grand Tasting featuring 22 renowned Portuguese producers and more than 200 wines.
Designed for importers, distributors, sommeliers, wine professionals, journalists and wine enthusiasts, this event offers an exceptional opportunity to discover the diversity, quality and contemporary character of Portuguese wines while meeting the producers behind them.
Portugal's wine landscape is undergoing an exciting transformation. A new generation of winemakers is embracing elegance and authenticity, producing wines with lower alcohol levels, restrained oak influence and a stronger expression of terroir and indigenous grape varieties. Alongside innovative new releases, visitors will also discover timeless classics, showcasing the remarkable diversity and heritage of Portuguese winemaking.
Throughout the afternoon, guests will be able to taste wines from Portugal's leading wine regions, explore new vintages and emerging trends, and engage directly with producers in an environment dedicated to learning, networking, and business opportunities.
The programme also includes a Food & Wine Pairing Seminar for Trade and a Masterclass to Wine Lovers, offering participants the chance to gain deeper insights to wine culture, and regional diversity.
