Wines of Portugal will once again be present at the latest edition of Wine Paris, one of the most prestigious international trade fairs dedicated to the beverage sector, which will take place from February 9 to 11 in Paris, at the Parc des Expositions, Porte de Versailles.
In this edition, according to information provided by the fair's organizers, Portugal is the third largest foreign exhibitor, after Italy and Spain. It will be represented in Hall 4, in an area of 2,540 m², with the participation of more than 300 Portuguese producers, highlighting the quality and diversity of Portuguese wines.
One of the highlights of this edition will be the seminar “Hidden Gems of Portugal”, led by Dirceu Vianna Junior MW, which will take place on February 10 at 12 p.m. The session offers a journey through rare Portuguese grape varieties, which are not usually found among the major commercial circuits, but which have great potential and quality. In this way, Wines of Portugal seeks to reinforce Portugal as a producing country, where the diversity of indigenous grape varieties continues to be one of its greatest attributes of differentiation in the global market.
There will also be a Free Tasting dedicated to Wine Tourism, with 50 wines from various regions of the country. This space aims to highlight the importance of wine tourism for the sector, not only as a promotional tool, but also as an element of economic, cultural, and territorial enhancement for Portuguese wines.
“Over recent editions, Wine Paris has become one of the main meeting points for professionals in the wine industry. Being present at this event is therefore strategic for Wines of Portugal. Our participation has been growing consistently, with an increase of over 150% in the last three years, reflecting the growing interest of international markets in the diversity and quality of Portuguese wines," says Frederico Falcão, Wines of Portugal Chairman.
The Portuguese presence at Wine Paris is part of Wines of Portugal promotion strategy to consolidate and increase the visibility of Portuguese wines in priority export markets, strengthening commercial relations and attracting new international partners.
