Wines of Portugal is participating in the organization of the first edition of Sabores do Enoturismo (Flavors of Wine Tourism), an event promoted by Visit Portugal, which will take place in Brasília, Brazil, on October 3 and 4. The initiative aims to promote wine tourism and raise awareness of Portuguese wines, positioning Portugal as a global benchmark in this area.
The event will take place at the Portuguese Embassy, which has spacious rooms and gardens that will provide a refined atmosphere, allowing visitors to experience the most authentic and sophisticated that Portugal has to offer. Over the course of these two days, from noon to 8 p.m., participants will be able to taste Portuguese wines in a tasting area and interact directly with national producers in a more informal and engaging environment.
This 1st edition of Sabores do Enoturismo will feature a series of parallel activities, such as exclusive tastings for professionals, talk shows on wine tourism, gastronomic associations with renowned chefs, and moments of pairing Portuguese and Brazilian wines and cuisine. There will also be talks on art, tradition, and contemporary issues, including an exhibition of the work “Pavillon de Vin” by Joana Vasconcelos and Lucia Bertazzo, on display in the gardens of the Portuguese Embassy.
Access to the event will be granted upon purchase of a ticket, which includes a choice of dishes prepared by chefs and wine tasting from the producers present. This will be followed by exclusive slots for end consumers, with the possibility of purchasing wines directly from the producers.
"This event is a unique opportunity to bring the essence of Portugal to the Brazilian public. Through our wines, our cuisine, and our culture, we want every visitor to feel like they are on a real trip to Portugal,“ says Frederico Falcão, Wines of Portugal CEO. ”Initiatives like this not only promote the excellent products the country has to offer, but also create authentic moments that reflect the best of Portuguese wine tourism."
In this first edition, the event arrives in Brasília with the ambition of becoming a reference in the region's wine calendar, bringing together producers, experts, and connoisseurs around a unique experience. The initiative will also receive extensive national media coverage and the support of a media partner, reinforcing its visibility and relevance.
