Last week, Wines of Portugal organized the Webinar "Why buy Portuguese wines?", whose content was created by Sarah Ahmed (The Wine Detective, Freelance wine writer and educator), who also organized the session.
This webinar is part of the Wines of Portugal Month - June is for Indies campaign, which Wines of Portugal is organising in the UK market in order to promote Portuguese wines in the independent sector (Indies), a growing segment in the category of Portugal.
The main objective of this session was to provide independent wine merchants, who have Portuguese wines in their portfolio, with tools and selling points about Portuguese wines. Sarah also invited some guests from the UK trade who further enriched the session by giving their point of view on Portuguese wines and their potential. It was a very complete 1h30 session!
