Among 4500 wines from 32 countries, Portugal was highlighted in the 8th edition of the "SAKURA" Japan Women's Wine Awards, with 78 medals awarded.
Among 4500 wines from 32 countries, Portugal was highlighted in the 8th edition of the "SAKURA" Japan Women's Wine Awards, with 78 medals awarded. Alentejo, Bairrada, the Vinho Verde region, Porto and Douro, Madeira and the Setúbal Peninsula, were the regions that won 12 'Double Gold' medals: Montaria Reserva 2018 (Parras Wines) Vinho Verde Loureiro 2020 (Quinta de Amares Vinicultura) Vinho Licoroso tinto Marquês Marialva Reserva dos Sócios (Adega Cooperativa de Cantanhede) Moscatel Adega de Favaios (Adega Cooperativa de Favaios) Madeira Malmsey 10 anos (Blandy's) Madeira Verdelho 10 anos (Blandy's) Moscatel Roxo de Setúbal Superior 2010 (Casa Ermelinda Freitas - Vinhos Lda.) Wine Future November 7th to 9th 2023

The 4th edition of Wine Future, which will take place between the 7th and 9th of November this year, will be held at the Convento de São Francisco in Coimbra. This 2023 edition is being co-organised by Wines of Portugal and Chrand Events. "Breaking Barriers" will be the theme of this, the largest meeting dedicated to wine held in Portugal, presenting participants with some of the most influential and respected names in the world of wine, but also with illustrious personalities from other sectors and even voices from competing industries.
