Portuguese wines awarded at IWSC 2019

Portuguese wines achieved 272 medals and 2 trophies at the International Wine and Spirits Competition 2019
In the latest edition of the International Wine and Spirits Competition, the Pereira D'OliveiraVerdelho 1994 and Sandeman Porto 40 Years Old Tawny wines were awarded respectively, with the Madeira Wine trophy and the Port Wine trophy. In total, Portugal collected 272 medals, including 13 gold medals, 62 silver and 197 bronze. IWC panel of handpicked industry experts judge entries over seven months of the year to ensure a considered approach to tasting is adhered to for each and every product.
