The producer Henriques & Henriques won the “Best in Show” medal, the best distinction of the competition, with the Madeira wine Sercial 2001. The wines AR Triplo from Adega do Redondo and Reserva da Familia Touriga Nacional-Syrah from Monte da Ravasqueira were distinguished with gold medals. Besides that, 11 wines were also awarded with silver medals and 47 wines with bronze medals. Portuguese wines achieved 43 positions in the ranking of commended wines. More than 50 expert judges, including Master Sommeliers and leading palates in the Asia region, judged 3155 wines during DAWA judging week in Hong Kong last September. See the full results here.
