Nine Portuguese wines shine on the Top 100 'Best Buys' of the Wine Enthusiast magazine
The wine Casa Santos Lima 2014 Stones & Bones from Lisbon wine region achieved the ninth place with 90 points in the Top '100 Best Buys "of the Wine Enthusiast magazine. The magazine describes it as “a bold wine, full of spice and rich tannins. With blackberry flavors, it is concentrated, dense and certainly ripe. The finish shows a dry character under the full-bodied fruitiness." Portugal totaled 9 positions in the Top '100 Best Buys "of the Wine Enthusiast and the third most awarded country of the list after the United States of America and France. Every year, the magazine Wine Enthusiast publishes the "Top 100 Best Buys”, the ordered list of wines that have the best quality / price ratio. Of the more than 21,000 wines reviewed this past year, fewer than 1,400 were awarded the Best Buy designation. However, only the best integrate in the top 100 dedicated to wine lovers who refuse to compromise on quality, no matter the occasion.
