Cortes de Cima wines will be tasted in a special event next April 1st, from 6.30 pm in the Ogival Room in Lisbon. The wine tasting will be commented by the winemaker Hamilton Reis who pretends to guide you during a journey around the Alentejo wine region. The event is organized by ViniPortugal together with Cortes de Cima and is inserted into the theme Wines of Portugal diversity. With vineyards located on the slopes of the Serra do Mendro, Cortes de Cimas wines are developed through a range of cap management techniques such as punch-downs, rack and returns and pumpovers in order to aerate the must and extract optimum color, tannin and flavor from the skins. Fruit quality and sorting are paramount to our winemaking philosphy. Cortes de Cima belongs to an American-Danish couple and produces wines of excellence that have gained notoriety in Portugal, and recognition in London, Brussels and Bordeaux. The wine tasting costs 6 euros and requires registration by March 31 via e-mail provas.salalisboa@viniportugal.pt. To ensure your place at the time of registration provide your mobile phone contact.
