The Wine Enthusiast magazine picked seven Portuguese wines with the great potential to mature and evolve through the years
The wine Quinta Vale Meão 2013 from Douro wine region is ranked in the 5th place of the "Top 100 Cellar Selection" with 97 points. In total, the Wine Enthusiast distinguished seven Portuguese wines with excellent scores above 95 points. Portugal was the 4th most awarded country after the USA, France and Italy. The Port and Douro wine region was the most awarded Portuguese region with five still wines and a port. The tasting panel of Wine Enthusiast evaluated nearly 1,000 wines over the past year. The Top 100 Cellar Selections included those which, according to wine critics, will mature and evolve well through the next years.
