José Maria da Fonseca Muscatels will be the protagonists of the wine tasting, which will be held on February 13, from 6.30pm in the Tasting Room Wines of Portugal, at Palácio da Bolsa. José Maria da Fonseca is a business family with almost two centuries of history that despite the conquests has been able to modernize. Holding the wine business since 1834, this family has been able to preserve and protect the memory and the prestige of its founder. Aware of the responsibility of being, at present, the oldest table wine producer and Muscatel of Setubal in Portugal, José Maria da Fonseca follows a philosophy of constant development, which leads to invest more and more in research supports and production, combining the most modern techniques to traditional knowledge. What distinguishes the work in José Maria da Fonseca is the huge passion for the art of wine making.
