Portuguese fortified wines (Porto and Madeira) won 10 gold outstanding medals and 10 gold medals. The wine Esporão Reserva Tinto 2011 from Alentejo wine region was the only still wine to get a gold medal, increased to 11 the number of gold medals achieved.
