Wines of Portugal are coming back to their international strategic market. According to the partnership with Food & Wine magazine, ViniPortugal organizes a marketing campaign to promote Portuguese wines in two prestigious events: Pebble Beach Food & Wine (10th-13th, April) in California and Aspen Food & Wine (20th to 22nd, June) in Colorado. These events are co-organized by the most prestigious wine & food magazine in USA. Both are large-scale events targeted to consumer and will promote Portuguese wine knowledge and wine tastings to upper and upper middle class consumers with great influence in other consumers and opinion makers. Jorge Monteiro, ViniPortugal CEO, explains “now that Portuguese wines begin to be under the radar of importers and distributors in the U.S. market, it’s necessary to look carefully to consumers.
