Portuguese wines achieved 7 medals, 5 gold and 3 silver medals in the 2013 Muscats du Monde Challenge. Portugal got the second place in the most awarded countries list. Also two Portuguese wines were featured in the challenge best 10 wines, such as: Moscatel do Douro Reserva Doc 2007 from Adega Cooperativa de Favaios and Moscatel Roxo Setúbal Doc 2009 from SIVIPA, Sociedade Vinícola de Palmela. The Muscats du Monde 13th edition occurred between 4th and 5th July in France. 224 wines (from 24 countries) produced from Muscat grape variety were in competition and reviewed by 55 international wine experts.
