The third edition of “Wine by the Glass” parties was very successfully. The parties enchanted the young audience and attract new consumers to drink wine by the glass since were served 11,000 glasses of wine. The wine parties promoted the wine consumption by the glass, relating the wine drinking to a moment of relaxation were moderation is always an idea to keep in mind. The third edition was developed considering the work done in the two festivals held in 2011 and 2012. These parties are a very important step in the educational process defined for the next 5-10 years which aims to change the wine culture in Portugal. In the last parties were tasted 21 different wines from several Portuguese wine regions in the 16 bars between Barroca, Diário de Notícias and Salgadeiras streets.
