Portuguese wines awarded in Challenge International du Vin

Portuguese wines were awarded in Challenge International do Vin last edition, a competition that took place in Bordeaux.
Portugal achieved 145 medals: 50 gold medals, 32 silver medals and 63 bronze medals. This edition, the organization created special prizes to some wines, as in: Alentejo wines, bio wines and for Blaye and Bourg regions wines. In the special prize “Alentejo”, Adega de Borba Reserva 2011 White and Monte Penedo Gordo Reserva 2010 Red were the winners. In this edition, Portugal was represented with 477 wines that were tasted by 800 judges.
