Portuguese wines awarded in China

Portuguese wines achieved 21 medals in China Sommeliers Wine Challenge 2012.
Adega de Borba, a wine company from Alentejo, was the most awarded Portuguese company in the competition receiving 8 medals (2 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze medals). The gold medals (6 in total) were attributed to wines Borba Montes Claros Garrafeira (2007), Kopke Port Colheita 1967, Borba Montes Claros Red (2009), Sandeman Port 20 years, Quatro Caminhos Red (2009) and XS Soberanas Red (2006). The silver medals were obtained by Pousio Red (2011), Borba Montes Claros White (2010), Borba Premium Red (2009), Borba Montes Claros Reserva Red (2008), Borba (Cork Label) Red (2008), Azamor Red (2006), Valmonte Red (2005), Quatro Caminhos white (2009) and Quatro Caminhos Reserva white (2009). The bronze medals were to Pontval Red (2010), Porta Templários Red (2010), Borba Convento da Vila Red (2010), Sensual Grande Reserva (2008) and the Borba Convento da Vila White (2010). Portugal also won the award for best port wine with Kopke Colheita 1967. All the wines were available in Wine & Spirits Fair 2012, the largest wine event in China which ended on 16 November.
