Neil Martin, wine critic for the prestigious Robert Parker, rated the 1948 Taylor's Port Wine with 100 points.
In an article published in the webpage of Robert Parker, Neil Martin describes the "perfect night", he had in May this year, tasting some wines. In that night he rated the Taylor's 1948 with 100 points, the highest wine rate in Robert Parker scale. According the wine critic, this Port is "perhaps the best Port wine that I ever rated." Taylor's also saw its 1935 Port awarded 98 points. It should be mention that the wines were evaluated during blind tasting. In the last decade, Neil Martin rated over 26.000 wines and only gave the highest wine rate to 33 wines.
