São Paulo receives the Portuguese Wines Grand Tasting planned in by Viniportugal and Port & Douro Wine Institute (IVDP) for trade and consumers. The journalist of the Brazilian magazine "Gosto" Guilherme Rodrigues will lead the wine tastings. Also in the wine tasting, there will be the final presentation of "Portugal Wine Expert", with Portuguese sommelier José Santanita. In the UK, precisely in London, importers, journalists, sommeliers and wine experts will attend an educational seminar lead by the renowned wine critic Tom Cannavan, winner of “Journalist of the Year in 2010” by Portuguese Wine Awards. In the event "The Boys of Summer", so called by the Vinho Verde Wine Commission (CVRVV), 80 wine brands from 16 producers will be available for tasting. These events result from the commitment to increase the volume of exports of Portuguese wines in these markets, which have relieved a growth potential.
