Portuguese wines got gold and silver medals in the international contest Arribes 2011 organized by Vinduero-Vindouro Association. Portuguese wines were awarded in the following categories: sparkling wines & cavas; white wines without oak; white wines with oak; rosé wines; red wines with less than 6 months ageing; red wines with ageing between 6 and 14 months and fortified wines. The contest allows a better image for Portuguese wines in the Spanish and South-America markets. The Arribes 2011 contest takes place at Travanca (Spain). Click here for the full list of winners.
