Wines of Portugal will organize the Wines of Portugal Grand Tasting in Warsaw, Poland, on October 12, to be held at the Hotel Warszawa.
The Hotel Warszawa is one of the most important examples of Polish architecture from the interwar period. It became an important symbol of Warsaw’s postwar rebirth. Its modern steel-and-concrete construction was a response to the rapid and dynamic urbanization of the Warsaw metropolitan area. Today, it is one of the most modern five-star hotels in Poland. There are two restaurants within the hotel. Restauracja Szóstka, with its cozy atmosphere, is located on the top floor and features a terrace with a panoramic view of the city; it will be organized as a venue for seminars and masterclasses. The hotel is not only a place to relax but also an event space with a well-equipped conference area. The hotel hosts art exhibitions, conferences, and tastings.
The 2026 edition will primarily focus on bringing together Portuguese producers—who are seeking importers and representatives from the Horeca sector—with Polish professionals looking to add new wines to their portfolios. In addition, we want to focus on educating sommeliers working in restaurants in Poland about Portuguese wines and their unique characteristics, since they are the ones who interact directly with the end customer.

3/ Portuguese Wine Academy—exclusively for intermediate-level sommeliers—in partnership with the Polish Sommelier Association (ASI member)
