Event description
Wines of Portugal will organise the Wines of Portugal Grand Tasting in London on February 23th of 2026, at One Great George Street (Westminster).
The event will feature around 60 producers.
The main tasting will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will include:
Wines of Portugal Academy – Level I (10:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.), aimed at all professionals in the sector;
Masterclass “Rare Grape Varieties” with Dirceu Vianna Junior MW (2:30 p.m.–3:30 p.m.);
Free Pour Area (Low Alcohol, Less Known Grapes and Sustainability Seal)
Wines of Portugal & Wine Alive Festival
In addition to the professional tasting, there will be a session for consumers (6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.), with the exclusive stamp of the WineAlive group (formerly Three Wine Men — Oz Clarke, Olly Smith, Tim Atkin MW, Susy Atkins, Tom Surgey, and Luma Monteiro).
The 250 consumers with pre-purchased tickets will have access to a 100% Portuguese immersion, accompanied by three of the journalists, in a relaxed and sharing environment, with two restaurant/delicatessen tables offering Portuguese snacks.
